Module One

Becoming familiar with the library homepage, shown below, is the first step to getting to know the Bellevue University Library. The first thing you will probably notice is the large rotating banner which highlights various library services and resources. Right above that is the Discovery Search box which searches nearly all the library databases simultaneously. Details about the best way to use this can be found in Module Three. At the top of the page just above Discovery Search, you will find four general headings: Find, Services, Ask a Librarian, and About Us. Mouse over any one of them to see the choices or click on one to go to a page with more information. Alternately, you can click on the corresponding icons under the rotating banner. Also notice the 24/7 Librarian button at both the top and bottom right portion of the screen which connects you to a chat box at any time of the day or night. The bottom section of the library homepage features our three most recent library blogposts as well as a library events calendar.

The next few pages will briefly discuss the resources and services found under each of the four headings.
