Module Three

If you need a little help finding books and other resources for a particular subject or course, take a look at our LibGuides. LibGuides are just what they sound like, guides to library resources. LibGuides use tabs to organize resources and other information, so that you can quickly locate books, eBooks, streaming videos, and so on, related to your topic. Rather than just providing lists of books, LibGuides takes you to the catalog record in eCatalog for each book listed, where you can get more information about the suggested books. In addition, you can connect to electronic books directly from the LibGuides. In many cases, streaming videos are embedded into LibGuides. In addition, a list of related library databases is provided, as well as a page with citation help. There are even links to outside websites that contain relevant information. Even better, if you have a question, you can connect to our 24/7 chat service from every LibGuide. The link to the LibGuides homepage is under Find on the library homepage. Click on Subject, Course, and Research Guides: LibGuides

Search for available guides by subject, search term, or an A-Z list. You do not have to be logged into the library databases to view the LibGuides, but to access library databases and E-Books through LibGuides, you will be prompted to login.

In addition to the subject oriented LibGuides, there are other types of LibGuides available, including guides for using the databases, guides to help with citations, and others. This is a growing collection; check back often to see what is new.
